Simple Kids Craft – Embossing Makes Great Fun
You may make simple craft using an embosser. Some embosser comes with extra refill which gives extra fun!
It is light weight and does not require much strength to get a pattern on paper. So even a preschooler can use it with ease.
Let’s take a look at how an embosser can make simple paper craft.

1. Firstly, cut out the background card. Choose any color or size. Preferably thicker paper which makes it last longer. If you have a pair of craft scissors, use it to cut the paper’s border to get better effect.

1.Firstly, cut the paper into square shape. I was using an A4 size paper by folding the edge to get a square and cutting out the extra paper to get a square.
2. Next, fold the square paper ideally three times to make a small triangle. You may fold more times if you wish to get a smaller triangle which will result in more repeated motives later. However, more folds result in thicker paper and it may be tougher to cut.
3. When you are done folding, draw the shapes of your choice. Remember to only draw at the edge. Draw only half of the shape. For example, if you would like to have a heart shape, draw only one side of the heart. See depicted picture.
5. Now, when you open it up, you will get a beautiful cut out paper craft. Gently glue it to a colored paper. Use the cut out shapes to paste at the edge as a border.

Two nights ago while visiting a family friend, we saw my friend’s son, who is also 5, did a great job by framing up some of his artwork. We got some ideas and thought we could do something similar.

Firstly, we needed a toilet roll core board (split into 2), a pink colored paper, some cotton and some double sided tape.
Next, just put on the tape on the pink colored paper and adhere it to the core board.
Next, when you have wrap both the core board with colored paper, stick them together and attach the bunny’s tail using cotton. In a separate piece of pink colored paper, draw the bunny’s ears and feet.
Then, draw a nice face for it!
Finally, it’s done! Here you go….Pink bunny from recycled toilet core board! Don’t expect it to hop though….
