Kids Poor Behavior As A Result of Poor Parenting
Call it workaholic but to me parenting is round-the-clock job and I can’t help but to notice how others parent their kids. While I was about to pickup Jasmine from her concert rehearsal, I saw her again. She came with her elder son to pickup her younger son who is in the same concert rehearsal as Jasmine. She got engaged with another parent and could not stop chatting while we waited for the rehearsal to end. Oh nevermind about that. Until…
Her elder son started to distract his brother rehearsing. They giggled and pushed each other thinking it was fun! It was to the extend that other parents started to look on and the teacher stopped the music.
She still didn’t noticed because she was carried away while chatting, higher beyond the clouds, laughing intermittenly. Her elder son continue to distract.
The mother hearing the teacher calling her elder son’s name immediately turned back. Pretended nothing happened to save herself from embarrassment and continued to chat! Oh poor parenting!
I could not also deny that if we improve our parenting styles, our kids will be more well behaved. Parents must act as disciplinarian. Parents must guide kids by drawing lines between good and bad behavior. What kind of behavior is allowed and what is not.
